Golf is a pretty interesting sport and allows you meet and get to know some great people. I think I only got to play golf with him twice but he left an impression on me. You could tell after a couple holes he was a great guy and just an all around good person and family man. Reading his obituary confirms it. You could surely add that he was modest to that list. Gone too soon. Condolences to the family. -Mike Izzo PCC

Dear Jan & family,
When I started working at Columbia Bank in Voorhees in 1987, Mark was one of the first people I met and got to know. He was a kind, loving, man, as you all know, devoted to his family, his community, and a leader not only at Columbia but in everything he did. He left the world a better place for having been in it, and will always be remembered. Deepest sympathies to all of you from David and me.

It's a sad day for all of us at Pennsauken CC. Mark was a good friend to all and a consummate gentleman. I spent many enjoyable days playing golf with him. I will miss him terribly. Always liked saying, "Good Mark shot." to him.

Emily sent this information to me, and I usually don't comment but Mark was a great influence in my daughter's life as one of her softball coaches. Until this day, Emily enjoys playing softball as a member of a small league in Philadelphia. I pray for God to comfort his loved ones during these trying times. Emily's dad and mom.

To the Schott Family,
Mark was truly one of a kind. He was that guy who was always upbeat with a broad smile for everyone he knew. The 1st time you met him you instantly liked him. I enjoyed golfing with him many times. What was most impressive was how he would light up whenever the conversation turned to family. The pride and love he had for his family was immeasurable.
He will sorely missed by all.

To the Schott Family, I will miss your dad. He was a wonderful man and I was lucky enough to play golf with him at PCC many times. He had an eternal smile and there was never a time when our conversation didn't turn to his family and how proud he was of all his girls! I often thought to tease him about being a girl dad! May his memory be a blessing to you as I will always remember him too. God Speed Mark! Love, Judy Haughton
