Dear Loved ones - Our Wildwood memories will always shine in our hearts when we think of your Basil. The delectable big breakfast he made every morning, and how he would coax Jim and I to take a little walk up on the boards while he and Olga would sit on the porch while Bryan was sleeping so we could have a little time together was priceless. Basil was a wonderful husband and dad and when he talked about his grandkids his eyes sparkled. One time I asked him if Mickey was a good guy and he said, "HE is the best!" and this has definitely proven so over the years. I will always remember the wonderful picnics; everyone was invited and you always left full of memories and lots of wonderful food. Olga and Basil's house was always OPEN to everyone. Bryan and Kim say some of their favorite childhood memories were the big family get togethers at Front Street. Basil with his chef hat barbecuing and saying, "Did you get enough to eat?" Over the years when Basil retired he was a wonderful helper to our family; especially to Aunt Tessie and my mom. Every day without fail he would stop over to my aunts house to check on them. When she passed away he continued to call my mom every night to see how she was doing and they shared a special bond. We will miss Basil but the memories of his gentleness and love will always be with us. I pray that all of you keep the best and brightest memories deep in your heart because he loved you all so much. All of you were the reason he loved so genuinely...all of you were the reason he went to dialysis three times a week. He wanted to stay with all of you forever and someday that will come true. I am so sorry for your loss.
