I was first introduced to the family on St Josephs Day March 1962. I was dating
Aunt Phyl's nephew John Mignogna. (the love of my life). I was going on 19 years
old. I was very nervous. I came from an Iriish family. I was very fair, with auburn hair
and freckles. I remember walking into this room with many Italian faces, all
laughing and smiling. After I was introduced, the teasing started with John by some
of the men. Itwas a little embaressiing but Aunt Phyl stepped in and she put a
end to it! I could tell she was the one who was the boss. She was so sweet and so
refined. I always had a lot of respect for her.I will always remember her generosity
and her strength along with her kind and loving ways... I will miss her!
