Obituary of Joseph A. Falco
Joseph A. Falco, 92 years, of Marlton, passed peacefully on December 3rd 2015; Beloved husband of Elaine D. (nee Bevilacqua) for 59 years; Devoted father of Joseph A. Falco II of Montreal, Cynthia M. (Ken) Thompson of East Palestine, Ohio and Pamela A. Falco of Marlton; Loving grandfather of Katie Falco & Maxwell Bundesmann; Also survived by many loving nieces & nephews.
Joseph was a proud Veteran who served in the Army from 1943 to 1946. He was the founder and Funeral Mortician of Falco Funeral Home in 1947 in Camden and later opened the Pennsauken Falco Funeral Home in 1962. As a Funeral Practitioner, he was a member of the New Jersey Funeral Director's Association & National Funeral Director's Association.
In the local area, Joseph was a member of UNICO, Sons of Italy, Young Mens Catholic Club, & Knights of Saint George. He was a host of the Catholic Radio Program in Philadelphia.
After retirement in the late 90s, Joseph went to the cities of Botswanna and Benine, Africa to help those with HIV & AIDS. He also was a Court Appointed Special Advocate working with abused children. He will be remembered by his family as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and how respected he was in the community.
At the request of the family, all funeral services are private. In lieu of flower's the family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association , South Jersey Regional Office 3 Eves Drive Suite 310 Marlton, NJ 08053
