Obituary of Maria Davila

Maria Davila (nee Torres), age 90, formerly of Camden passed away on September 20, 2015 at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, New Jersey. . Beloved wife of the late Guillermo for 58 years; Devoted mother of Sonia Santiago, Elba Maritza Villanueva, Guillermo Davila Jr., Hector M. Davila, Raquel Gracia, Wilfredo Davila and the late Myriam Davila; Loving grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 18. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Davila was employed for 27 years as a seamstress with Hirsch Tyler in Philadelphia. She was a faithful Christian who directed all of the plays and performances at all of the churches she attended. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday from 9 AM at the Lion of Judah Church, 9 Odlen Avenue in Somerdale, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill.
