Had the pleasure of working at Bobs store for a long time. He was always a fair and genuine person, even though some people might not believe that.
He hired many young people throuhout the years, from the local community, many of these young people went on to successful careers. He also hired many characters as well.
Bob always ensured only the best meats were sold in his store. Having never been involved in the meat business it was Bob who introduced me to it and was the backbone to my 'new' career nearly 20 years ago.
Bobs days were always brightened as he talked about his grandchildren, and the success of his som Patrick, and daughter Christen.

I met Bob and his wife many years ago while married to Patrick Gaffney. Bob was one of the nicest men I've ever known. I would stop in his store to say hello whenever I was in the area. I am so sorry for his family and their loss.

When I first came to Merchantville, Bob was one of the first people I met. He didn't say anything, but gave the nod. Lol. Several trips to Philly Fruit later, and finally I guess he realized I was going to be a regular patron. Soon stories and anecdotes came forth, including happy news about his children. Marie, you and your family are in my thoughts tonight. With deepest condolences.

Rest in peace sir. You were one of a kind. From growing up with your wonderful children, to being "employed" to deliver flyers for Philly Fruit, to crossing paths many years later in my professional life. You were always a fair man and sharing of advice, even when we were to young to fully grasp your knowledge..
My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Mrs. Hanna, Patrick, Kristin and all those that I have not met. Whether you called him husband, Dad, grandpa, or Bob (though I never did), we were all better for having known him. God bless you sir.

My heart is heavy for the loss of a great man! Mr. Hanna was one of a kind and made an impact on many of lives, mine included. He was a good man who was always there to help.
