Joe was my friend I will miss him. I remember when we met. I was assigned to a special project working in the Record Retention Center (RRC) in the year 2000. He worked in the RRC full-time and was given the extra duty to help those of us working the special project. We worked together for 5 months in the old building housing all of the loan files. This was long before the new warehouse was built in Westampton, NJ. In the past 10 years, I cannot even count how many times I have moved seat locations, but somehow he always managed to find my desk to deliver the files. Whenever he delivered files, I would always stop and spent time talking with him. We would catch up on the latest (he had good insight to what was going on in the company) and he always had a good story to pass along. His visits always brightened my day and made me laugh. I remember the last time we spoke. He told me that someone in his department had just left and he was taking a desk job and that he would not be delivering my loans anymore and I might not see him unless I went over to the RRC. Still, whenever I see or hear a handcart with files rolling through the area, I always look up hoping to see his smiling face with a file or two in his hand hoping that he got away from the desk job for a while to be able to visit his old stomping grounds. I did not think this would also be the last time I would be talking to him as well. My prayers are with his family at this time. Please know that Joe did make an impact on people s lives. I called him my friend and he will be missed.

A father is a special man who cares for his family...he helps his children without complaint and gives his love so freely. With problems one cannot solve, a father can find the cure...happy times are also shared, wonderful memories for sure. Fathers teach important morals, to be kind, honest and true...they are models to their children in all they say and do. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Rita and I wanted to share this for your children.

I have been fortunate to work for PHH for a total of ten years and none of that would have been possible without Joe. I started as a young kid right out of high school in the record retention center back in 1998 with no mortgage experience, and no experience of a real job for that matter. From day one Joe had me working hard and in a short matter of time I was able to gain his respect. From that time I built a friendship with Joe as he would begin have trust in my as an employee.Joe would always tell me I was a hard worker and was special and could be successfull one day. Joe taught me alot in the short period I was in the RRC, including how to start a 401K. I am extremely grateful for taking his advise on the retirement plans, I mean what 18 year old cares about that kind of stuff? But Joe was looking out! After a year or so I decided to make the biggest move of my life applying for a job in another building of PHH. On the day of my interview I got a flat tire and almost was late for that interview, but I drove on the rim. Anyway after the interview I had no idea what to do you as I didn't have AAA, and all of my friends do not live close by at all.......except there was Joe who went out of his way after a long day in the RRC to come out to route 38 to help me put my tire back on. I will never forget that time. Thanks for all Joe and my prayers and thoughts are with your family.
