I grew up in Camden, living on Haddon Avenue as did MaryAnn. We attended school together and as junior high students I remember Maryann as being a fun loving adventurous teen. We had lots of fun, innocent times together. Always the fashionista, I remember she got sent home from school one day for wearing eye makeup before it was generally accepted. I can still picture her face and I'm so happy that she was able to raise a large family and enjoy them and her career. My sincere condolences go to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed in this world. Although I have not been in New Jersey in over 40 years, MaryAnn stands out in my memory as being one of a kind! I hope your sadness will soon be replaced by happy memories of MaryAnn.

your book is one of the only books that if someone is truly opeend minded and reads it, they either change their mind or at least respect the other side. He puts More Guns Less Crime on the same level as Thomas Sowell's economics primer and Mark Steyn's America Alone...that's some good company. Keep up the good work and love your blog. Paul....

I don't even know where to begin. Life will never be the same without you Mom. How can I ever thank you for all the sacrifices you have made for us, the unconditional love you have shown, and the wonderful memories I will hold near and dear in my heart forever. You were just so good to us and we were so blessed to have you as a mother as long as we did. I have great comfort in knowing that the Good Lord will take care of you and help us to get a little more strength each day. It breaks my heart that I will never get to hug you or kiss you again or even touch your hand. I am so thankful that my children had you for the woderful grandmother that you were. I know that one day we will meet again, but please show us signs so that we know you are at peace and watching over us. We will never ever forget you, how could we? You were our world! To the best mother ever...May you rest in eternal peace...We love and will miss you greatly...xoxoxoxo

its strange how you came into my life, we had three beautiful children together, I think the problem we had all these years 21 as husband wife, two dating and the rest going on with our lives as best we could. The big problem was that I was much taller than you, I guess thats why we never saw eye to eye on many issues I hope they have telephones and a variety of restaurants in heaven and a car, maybe you''ll get the job of driving the shuttlebus or taxi. things could have been much different. But at least we had three children, 7 grandchildren and a new baby greatgranddaughter waiting to be born. What everyone don't know is that you are playing with her right now in heaven and yes, you are the first to see her, va and vaska are waiting for you and your mother has him painting your room right whistling and slapping the paint all overheaven. Maybe now you can look into my heart and realize what you really had. Don't worry about the children they are tough and will go on, and they will take care of jack. I know because they have my strength. I never wanted to see something like this to happen to you I thought we would all be around fo a long long time. Rest in peace and may the good lord watch over all of us. Thog, theo miller

So sorry, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Maryann was a beautiful person, always a smiling face and impeccably dressed. Our Dad's were brothers, they often took us for Sunday drives (in one car) to AC, precasino. Maryann and I sat on the floor of Uncle Pat's Studebaker and Aunt Vera always had to stop at flea stands along the way to AC. Wonderful childhood memories. Rip Maryann. Fondly remembered with love, cousin Franny
