(Bill) suddenly, on May 28, 2010, age 81, of Pennsauken , NJ . Beloved husband of Marie (nee Salerno ). Also survived by his brother James of Buena, NJ, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.           Bill served in Germany in the Army during the Cold War era. After the service, he pursued a career in education, where he was much loved and respected by students and peers. He earned degrees from Central College , MO , the U. of P. , and Leigh U.,PA. He taught social studies at Merchantville High School , and then served the Daniel Boone School District in Birdsboro , PA , as principal and superintendent. Later, Bill worked as an administrator at the Carol Morgan School in the Dominican Republic , Montgomery County Community College , PA , and Atlantic County Community College in NJ.          Bill's natural charm and sense of humor endeared him to many. His quiet demeanor hid a passion for helping people in need, horse racing and Jazz.         Relatives and friends are invited to a reception in Bill's honor on Thursday, June 10 th 12pm to 3pm at the Camden County Boat House, 7050 N.
