May Kevin Rest in Paradise.....My sympathies to the entire family. And to Kevin's children that were left out on purpose, Basillia and Nicholas (Henry) Rivera, you have my deepest sympathies. NO matter what the situation is children should not be targeted. Basillia and Henry, may your memories of your father forever be in your heart. I am so sorry for your lost. Ane realy our lost. Kevin and I were close friends. Years had gone by with out us seeing each other. Then just lest mouth I ran into him at Mr. Brakes where he was working. We talked and made plans to get together. I will miss him. But I trust in God that he's in His hands. To Aunt Dorothy, all my cousins, family and friends who hold memories of Kevin dear, it is with hearts full of grief and sadness that we ll join and say goodbye. I do not look forward to this occasion but would rather remember the one that last brought us together. That being Aunt Dorothy s recognition ceremony and dinner provided by the church for which she served so faithfully for so many years. I d been out of the country for ten years and it was good to see Kevin after all that time. I remember him being so proud of his mother for not only what she gave to the church but for what she gave to him. Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived.
