Obituary of Julio E. Leon
Julio E. Leon, age 73 years of Pennsauken, passed away on October 5, 2024.
Beloved husband of Rosa L. Leon (nee Lopez). Devoted father of Julio E. Leon Jr. (Valeria), Ivette Hernandez (Juan), and Monique Leon (Nito Ortiz). Loving grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 9. Dear brother of Olga Rosa, Carmen Santos, Jose Leon, Javier Leon, Margarita Leon, Milagros Ramos, Carmen Guzman, Lydia Lopez and the late Joselito Leon and Enrique Ramos. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Prior to retirement, Julio worked for many years as a foreman in the window business. He also proudly served in the US Marine Corp. Julio loved watching all sports, especially the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and Sixers. He was a big chocolate lover and enjoyed eating food, dancing, and having fun. Travelling and vacations with family were a favorite of his. Most of all, Julio loved spending time with his family and was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Julio will be remembered as a compassionate man who loved to make people laugh and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 9-11 AM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM at Mary Queen of All Saints, St. Cecilia Parish, 4828 Camden Ave in Pennsauken. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
