Obituary of Modesta Nobles

Modesta Nobles, age 66 of Pennsauken, passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden on August 9, 2024.  She was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico to the late Francisco Sanchez-Colon and Petronilla Burgos.

She is the beloved mother of Nadine Nobles and David Rivera; dear sister of Alicea Sanchez, Lola Colon, Carmen Colon, Nicky Burgos, Domingo Colon, Esteban Colon and the late Margarita Sanchez, Justina Colon, Daniel Burgos and Victor Sanchez.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Modesta loved plants, cooking, dancing and going out shopping for clothes.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday, August 20 from 9 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Morgan Cemetery in Cinnaminson.
