Obituary of James Kevin Henkel

James K. Henkel of Cherry Hill, passed away on July 31, 2024 at 62 years surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Jacque (nee Gmaz); Devoted father of Alyssa and  Jewel; Dear brother of Ralph III, David, Margaret, Patricia, Matthew, Christopher, Bernadette and Gerald; Loving son in law of Francis Sr. and Shirley Gmaz; Cherished brother in law of Francis Gmaz; Also survived many nieces and nephews.

James worked as a manager at many local Burger Kings for 30 plus years. He was an avid football fan, especially for  the Eagles and also enjoyed rooting for the Phillies. He had a witty personality that everyone loved. His jokes were funny, and he told the best stories. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at the FOP Garden Stats Lodge #3 Hall, 871 Engard Avenue, Pennsauken, NJ 08110, on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 4 pm - 8 pm. We are inviting anyone who would like to gather, pay their respects and share memories of Dad to please join us.
