Obituary of Carmen Maria Barbosa

Carmen Maria Barbosa, age 94 of Camden, passed away at her home in Camden on July 28, 2024.  She was born on October 19, 1929 in Las Marias, Puerto Rico to the late Teofilo and Rosa Maria (nee Ortiz) Barbosa.

She is the beloved wife of the late Juan Ramos; devoted mother of Robert Ramos (Gale Sena)  Rosa Ramos and the late Jose R. Elias; loving grandmother of Romaxie "Mimi" Molina, Cheylali "Chali" Molina, Joseph "YeYe" Ramos and Louis "Alex" Perez; cherished great grandmother of Jose "Jayco" Rodriguez; dear sister of Guillermo Barbosa and the late Luz Maria Soto-Barbosa, Adelaida Rodriguez-Barbosa, Josefa Ortiz-Barbosa, Rosalina Ortiz-Barbosa, Juan Barbosa and Roberto Barbosa.

Carmen loved spending time cooking in the kitchen and tending to her plants in the garden.  She also enjoyed sewing, singing, writing and reading.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Wednesday, August 7 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Avenue, where a Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM.
