Obituary of Geoffrey C. Surrette

Geoffrey C. Surrette age 89, a lifelong resident of Pennsauken, NJ, sadly passed away on July 21, 2024, after a life richly lived in service and kindness.

Husband to Claudette, Father to Deborah, Tracey and Geoffrey. Grandfather to Hillary, Jacquelyn, Richie, Geoffrey and Nicholas and Great Grandfather to Jesse and George.

A proud US Marine Corp Veteran, brick mason, carpenter and contractor. After family his second love was the game of golf. A member of Pennsauken Country Club for over 40 years creating lifelong friendships. He also served as the Golf Association President for over 20 years. He spent the last 10 years playing with the PCC Seniors, breaking his age and being the big gun off the tee in the Senior Scramble. Geoff loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed traveling with his companion of the past 5 years, Ruth Synodinas.

We celebrate the legacy Geoff leaves behind. Through his commitment to family, friends, and community, he made a lasting impact on the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. As we move forward, please honor his memory by keeping his spirit alive in our actions and the choices we make each day.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 6-8 PM and Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM.  Entombment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
