Obituary of Rumel Anaya

Rumel Anaya, age 32 years of Woodlynne, passed away suddenly on July 9, 2024.

Beloved son of Ruben and Josefina Anaya (nee Cruz). Devoted father of Melani Anaya, Skylar Anaya, and Josefina Anaya. Dear brother of Josben Anaya. Caring uncle of Joel Anaya and Nova Selene Anaya. Loving grandson of Lydia M. Cortez and Juana Anaya. Cherished nephew of Ismael Anaya, Victor Anaya, Judy Anaya, Tony Anaya, Kathy Anaya, Johnny Anaya, Maritza Kenney, Orlando Alameda, Delia Ruiz, and Hiram Rivera. Also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

Rumel loved playing and watching football. He enjoyed sports of all kinds, but football was his favorite. Rumel had a great fashion sense and loved collecting sneakers. He was also a bit of a neat freak and germaphobe, always making sure to have hand sanitizer with him. Rumel also enjoyed watching classic movies, eating seafood, and listening to all kinds of music. Rumel will be remembered for his joyful spirit and unique laughter. One of Rumel's greatest joys was being a father to his three daughters.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 4:30-6:30 PM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 PM. Final disposition will take place privately.
