Joe was a friend, coach, and mentor to so many. He always would take time to help anyone at any time on the golf course. They lessons he taught about golf and life are the foundations I use when I give lessons or coach at Golden Pheasant. I will never forget them and I promise to play them forward. When I became Delran's golf coach, he quickly became my most valued resource helping kids, an area he also excelled. Attaboy!!!!! I will miss you my friend. To his amazing family, He was always proud of all of you; he talked about you often. I am sure he is already on the first tee, getting ready to teach and play.

Rest in peace, Joe. I remember speaking with you in December at Remo's tribute to John Lennon at THE BLUE MONKEY. I met your lovely wife. And I think a few of your children. We had a wonderful conversation about the old days. And we had a conversation about my daughter, Mia, who works part time at Pennsauken Country Club. Every time she saw Joe after that moment, she always mentioned to me that Joe is such a nice and kind man. I know everyone thinks of you as just that, a kind friend to all. I think everyone who knows you will always Remember your kind words about everyone, especially your family. I know your friends from the past would want to say the same to you, and a heartfelt thank you for all the beautiful memories. you will be missed by many.RIP

Joe was a friend and a wonderful mentor and coach to my niece Grace Flocco. I introduced them a few years back and Pennsauken Country Club when she was in high school struggling with her golf swing and he became her coach, confident and friend. He was aways there to help her, encourage her and cheer her on in golf. She now plays college golf at Elizabethtown College and she told me they just were messaging each other a few weeks back as she competed in her college conference championships. He was forever the coach! I will always be grateful to Mr. Joe Casey...that's what Grace always called him...for his kind spirit and dedication to the game of golf for our young folks! I remember years ago Joe and I took a computer class together. It was fun because of Joe. I'll always remember going to his and Lisa's house for pictionary with the whole family around Christmas time. I used to call Joe my Grape Ape. We didn't see each other alot lately but we kept in touch. I hold a special place in my heart for you my friend. No more pain and suffering. You are now one of God's angels Rest in peace Joe knowing you were loved by many.
