Obituary of Tasha M. Rivera

Tasha M. Rivera was born on January 14, 1975, in Camden, New Jersey. 

Tasha or ’Tash’ was an avid NY Giants fan, who enjoyed listening to her slow jams or salsa music while she cooked. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, bowling, and eating seafood. Tasha was the family favorite titi and would do anything for her nieces and nephews as if they were her own kids. She would light up a room with her infectious laugh or jokes consisting of words she made up. Tasha cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for always speaking the truth and being the one you could call on if you ever needed anything because you knew you could count on her. 

Tasha M. Rivera was truly blessed and departed this life on May 2, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of George V. Rivera-Cotto and Sara E. (Torres) Morales; Devoted mother of Vincent Walls, Tashell Demby (husband Dymiere) and Rachelle Rivera;  Loving grandmother of Iszabella Demby, Ximena Walls, Ariya Demby and Dymiere Demby, Jr.; Dear sister of Elizabeth Hernandez, Aileen Casablanca, Casin Davilla and the late Sean Gordian; and is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 10-11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Final disposition will be private.
