Obituary of Lawrence A. Marconi

Lawrence A. Marconi, age 76 of Voorhees, passed away at his home on April 30, 2024.  He was born in Camden, New Jersey on October 21, 1947 to the late Alexander and Domenica Marconi.

He is the beloved husband of Julia (nee Matthews); devoted father of Laurie and Alexander Marconi and cherished Pop Pop of Marco and Isabella Tornari.  He is also survived by his faithful French Bulldog Sabu.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Marconi was employed as a mail sorter with the United States Postal Service for over 30 years.  He enjoyed antique cars, Italian food (thin spaghetti with marinara - al dente), and loved to be surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday, May 7 from 9 to 10:15 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 Am at the Church of St. Rose of Lima, 300 Kings Highway in Haddon Heights.  Interment will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr.
