Obituary of Reinaldo M. Ruiz

Reinaldo M. "Ray" Ruiz, age 73 of Pennsauken, passed away on January 8, 2024 at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania.  He was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico on December 24, 1950 to the late Salome Ruiz and Antonia Anaya.

He is the beloved husband of Betty M. (nee Smarr Sanders); devoted father of Wilfred and Vincent Glenn; loving grandfather of Quentin, Taja, Taliah, Zachariah and Shomari and great grandfather of Nalani, Maya, Nhamya and Hayden; dear brother of Radames, Mercedes and the late Jackie Ruiz.

Ray was employed as a pharmacy associate with Medco Health Systems in Willingboro, NJ from 2002 up until his retirement.  He was a true family man and cherished the time he spent with his wife Betty and his mother Antonia.  In his younger years, he enjoyed travelling and crafting with Betty and always enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Family Feud.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, January 19 from 6 to 8 PM and Saturday, January 20 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where Funeral Services will be held at 8:00 Friday evening.  Interment will take place Saturday following the morning viewing at Chelten Hills Cemetery in Philadelphia.
