Obituary of Soramelia Vargas
Soramelia Vargas, age 62 years of Camden, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.
Beloved daughter of Virginia and the late Neftali Vargas. Devoted mother of Christine Concepcion (Jon), Jennifer Concepcion (Jonathan), Anthony Concepcion (Beth) and Ashanti Concepcion and Maria, Efrain and David. Loving grandmother of Jose, Alani, Joselyn, Aniya, Jadah, Gio, Alina, Aiden, Tiana, Lil David, Jacob, Magaly, Hector, Melissa, Emily, Ashley, Mirellys, Danny, Jeremiah and Jesse and great grandmother of Adison. Dear sister of Linda Vargas, Maria Wolfe (Terry), Wanda Vargas and George Vargas (Jessica). Also survived by her companion, Wilson Perez and many loving nieces and nephews.
Prior to her illness, Soramelia worked at the Cambridge Nursing Home in Moorestown for many years. She loved Latin music, dancing, cooking, but most of all she cherished time spent with family.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 6-8 PM and Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 10-11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
