Obituary of Eleanor M Caruso

Eleanor M. Caruso (nee Matricardi) passed away peacefully on December 27, 2023, just one day shy of her 98th birthday. Beloved wife of the late George Caruso; Devoted mother of Donald (Ro) Caruso and Richard (Pam) Caruso; Loving grandmother of Geoffrey (Kelly), Colin (Melissa), April, Eric, Jessica (Ian) and great grandmother of Bella, Mickey, Colten, Vera, Lydia and Willa. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Eleanor worked as a Personnel Manager for F.W. Woolworth Five & Dime in Camden for many years, which she truly loved. She was a dedicated mother and especially enjoyed volunteering and supporting her sons at St. Peter's school through PTA and working as a teacher's aide. She also loved participating in bingo.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation Funeral on Thursday, January 4th from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Falco/CARUSO & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 W. Maple Ave in Merchantville. Interment will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown.
