Obituary of Coulter "Colt" James Thurber III

Coulter "Colt" James Thurber III, age 63 years of Pennsauken, passed away suddenly on December 10, 2023.  

Beloved son of Coulter James Thurber, Jr. and Patricia Ann Thurber (nee Novick).  Caring husband of Susan (nee Heath). Devoted father of Jamie Thurber (Gary Tagland), Julianna Thurber, and the late Coulter James Thurber IV. Cherished stepfather of Dana Pitrelli (JJ), Brittany Desposito, and Taylor Desposito. Loving grandfather of Julian and Eliana. Dear brother of Kelly Thurber and Kimberly Ann Thurber. Also survived by his first wife Linda Thurber (nee Tocco) and her family, dog Blu, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Colt was a self-employed construction worker for many years. He truly was a jack of all trades. Colt was a friendly individual, a "professional smooth talker", and made lasting connections wherever he went. Colt was an avid Eagles fan. He found peace at the beach, enjoying the sun and working on his tan. His sense of style, even from a young age, shone through in his fondness for designer clothes and Gucci Guilty cologne. A music enthusiast, Colt always had his headphones on and filling his car with tunes. His signature dance move was a source of joy for those around him. He had a passion for photography and enjoyed capturing the beauty of sunsets. Colt was also a collector of electronics and antique stereo equipment.
