Obituary of Miguel Angel Rosa

Miguel Angel Rosa, age 50 of Philadelphia and Camden, passed away suddenly on September 5, 2023.  He was born in Philadelphia on February 12, 1973 to Maria Elena Velazquez and Candido Rosa.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, William (Caroline) Sanchez, Marilyn (Angel) Rivera, Elsie Hernandez (Marco Payes), Adaline (Hector) DeJesus, Nancy (Elvin) Gonzalez and Edward Rosa (Amy Flood), many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews and his cherished dog Diamond.

Miguel loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.  He also enjoyed baking and cooking, music, and watching Forensic Files, The Walking Dead and Scarface.  Growing up, he started building model cars from scratch, which was the beginning of his love of cars and motorcycles. 

Miguel loved to make people laugh and was always joking around.  He always knew what to say or do to put a smile on people’s faces.  He was also known to enjoy Tastykakes, Reese’s Cups, Italian Rum Cake, Chorizo, Arroz con salchicha and Surullitos de maiz.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM and Wednesday from 9 to 10 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
