Obituary of Marjorie Ann Damato

Marjorie A. Damato (nee Engart) age 91 years of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Richard A. Damato, Sr.  Devoted mother of Diane Miller, Richard A. Damato, Jr., Daniel J. (Janet) Damato, Deborah M. Verrecchia, Dean F. Damato and the late Katherine Ann Damato. Loving grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 14 and great, great grandmother of 2.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Prior to retirement, Marjorie worked various part time jobs in retail in addition to her most important job of being a fulltime mother and wife.  She was an avid reader and loved trips to the Jersey shore.  Marjorie enjoyed watching old movies and her favorites were The Sound of Music, One Special Night and Where the Heart Is.  She also enjoyed watching the Golden Girls and Reba and listening to music.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 9:30-11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM.  Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3 Eves Drive, Suite 310 Marlton, NJ 08053.
