Obituary of Marie B. Martin

Marie B. Martin (nee Boorman), age 73 of Ocean City, NJ, formerly of Cherry Hill; passed away peacefully at her home on November 19, 2022.

She is the beloved wife of the late Clifford "Cliff" W. Martin and cherished daughter of the late John A. and Dorothy (nee Montana) Boorman; beloved mother of Erica (Mark) Odenheimer and Becca (Bryan) Boucher; loving Nonna of Madison, Cora, Carter and Zoey and dear sister of Margie Boorman and Lorry Heeter.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.

Prior to her retirement, Marie worked for over 30 years as an RN and Thalassemia Nurse Coordinator in the hematology/oncology department of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  She was dedicated to her patients and remained friends with many of them after her retirement   She was a trivia whiz and liked playing Trivial Pursuit and watching MSNBC, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Blue Bloods on tv. Marie enjoyed travelling, relaxing at the beach, reading and most of all spending time with her family.  Christmas was Marie's favorite holiday, and she loved to host the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve for her family and friends.  

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 6 to 8 PM and Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM.
