Obituary of Teodoro Melendez

Teodoro "Teddy" Melendez, age 69 years of Pennsauken, passed away suddenly on September 16, 2022.

Beloved husband of Sara (nee Carmona).  Devoted father of Alexis Melendez, Joyce Rancani (Ryan), Diana Villec (Steven), Luis Melendez (Glorieli), Jazmin Cosme (Omar) and Jordan Melendez and stepfather of Jocelyn Jackson (Robert), Jesenia Pagan and Rene Becerril.  Loving grandfather of 19.  Dear brother of 7 sisters and 7 brothers.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Prior to retirement, Teddy was a bus driver for NJ Transit in Camden for over 30 years.  When he was younger, he worked as a bartender at a casino and enjoyed meeting and socializing with many high class and famous people.  Teddy was always the life of the party, he had an infectious smile and loved telling stories about his life experiences.  He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, liked all types of music and will be remembered as the family historian.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 6-7:30 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 7:30 PM.  Final Disposition will take place privately.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 1818 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
