Obituary of Nelson Cabrera, Sr.

Nelson Cabrera, Sr., age 80 of Camden, passed away on August 3, 2022 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey.

He is survived by his 4 children, Magda, Nelson Jr. (Ivelisse), Rafael (Marilynn), Richard Cabrera; siblings Jose A. "Che" Cabrera, Luz D. Rivera, Jose M. "Chaggy" Cabrera and the late Carmelo Cabrera. He is also survived by Dianara "Ñaña" Bonilla and many other loving family members and friends. Nelson was predeceased by his loving parents Leonor Ortiz Perez & Carmelo Cabrera.

Nelson was a huge Phillies fan, and enjoyed playing the lottery (especially scratch off tickets), dominoes, collecting baseball cards, and going to auto and boat shows. He was also a bowler in his younger years.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday, August 10 from 9:30 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Avenue, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
