Obituary of Michael Anthony Llane

Michael Llane, 48 years of age, passed away on January 25, 2022, at Cooper University Hospital, Camden, New Jersey at approximately 4:10pm. 

Michael was born on August 11, 1973, in Camden, New Jersey to the late Maria Llane and late Segundo Alfaro. He is survived by his brothers Felipe A. Alfaro (Alicia), Alexis Alfaro, Christopher Llane (Melissa), Moises Alfaro (Coral), and his sisters, Justa Alfaro and Ana Alfaro.  He is also survived by his nieces, Gabriela Alfaro, Natalia Llane, Erika Alfaro, Waleska Alfaro, Iris J. Alfaro, Gianna Alfaro, Coralina Alfaro, and his nephews, Giovanni Arroyo, Jonathan Llane, Jeremiah Llane, Brenton Llane, Samuel Llane, Jose Alfaro, Omar Alfaro, Kamden Llane, Chris Alfaro, and Ian Alfaro. Micheal is also survived by his great-nieces Kiara, Karla, Adria, Ediris, Yomary, Jorelma, Victoria, Valery, Emma,  Mayvin, Camila Sol, and his great-nephew Freddy. He is predeceased by his brothers Edward Llane, Segundo Alfaro Jr., Angelo Llane, and his nephew Orvil Alfaro. 

Michael is remembered for his smile and friendly demeanor.  He was an all-around “good guy”.  Michael loved spending time with family and friends. He especially loved playing dominoes at family gatherings and talking smack while doing so. Michael loved music.  You would often find him with his speaker listening to Salsa.  He is also remembered as a jack-of-all-trades, as he enjoyed helping his family and friends with any task, from fixing malfunctioning cars, or painting houses to carpentry and landscaping.  

Michael is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins that he loved and cherished dearly. Michael was loved by many and his presence on earth will be greatly missed.

Relatives & friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Tuesday from 9 to 11 AM at Falco Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home, 3425 River Road in Camden. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
