Obituary of David John Bernardo
David J. Bernardo, age 90 years of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully at home on January 10, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Maria D. (nee Colacci) for 64 years. Cherished son of the late Vincenzo and Adeline Bernardo. Loving uncle of Maria Francesconi (Tom), Anthony Tatta (Tammy) as well as many other loving nieces and nephews and cousins. Dear brother of the late Ann LaMarra, Theresa Celani, James Bernardo, Ralph Bernardo, Helen Bernardo, and Tom Bernardo. Caring brother in law of Antonio Tatta and the late Gloria Tatta.
David enjoyed family gatherings, almost as much as his beloved Philadelphia Eagles, of which he was a fan of for over 82 years. He especially enjoyed going out to breakfast with his wife and family.
Relatives and friends are invited on Saturday, January 22, 2022, to the Church of Mary, Queen of All Saints, 4824 Camden Avenue in Pennsauken, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:45 AM. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 3906 Church Road Mt Laurel NJ 08054 or the charity of the donors choice.
