Obituary of Sylvia DiGaetano
Sylvia DiGaetano (nee Ettorre) age 98 years, formerly of Villas, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 22, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Devoted mother of Joseph DiGaetano (Susanne), Vincent DiGaetano (Diane) and Janice DiGaetano (Daniel Kenney). Loving grandmother of Justin, Ashley, Dana, Janice and Lauren and great grandmother of Mia, Luca, Lorenzo, Joseph, Brielle, Luca and Olivia. Dear sister of the late Almarinda Borgia, Antoinette Raffa, Grace Anderson and Carlo Arcaini. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Sylvia was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She enjoyed playing softball when she was younger and was very proud of a championship win. Sylvia was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed trips to the casinos and doing crossword puzzles. Most of all she cherished time spent with her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 10-11:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 PM at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 402 Kings Highway N. in Cherry Hill. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
