Dear Family,
I too join along with many who knew Deborah longer than I. We were friends for a short time and had contact while Deborah was at St. Rita of Cacia' and then St. John Newman. Throughout, her busy schedule, she always found time to console me. I still have a picture of the family that she treasured. Although, we lost contact due to our schedule's, Deborah left an indelible mark in my heart and has/will be forever in my prayers.
To the family, friends and student who had the distinct opportunity to know this precious individual, I send my prayers and ask God Our Father to fill the void in your lives. May Mother Mary wrap Her mantle around each one of you. Truly, Deborah is His own.
God bless!

I just learned this sad news today. Miss Binder was my teacher in 7th and 8th grade. She regarding her students as young adults and showed a respect for our dignity that was unique. She shared her artistic talents with us, and her great taste in music. Her courage in the classroom only became apparent to me in later years, looking back. God bless you all.

We are so sorry to just learn of the passing of Debbie. She was our neighbor and friend. She loved talking to our kids while she was gardening and seeing them every Halloween as they were growing up. Truly a kind soul. Every time we see a beautiful garden we will think of her.We will miss you Debbie. Love, Cheryl Tim Jaden and Brenden Burns.

I had the honor of enjoying Debbie’s friendship at Archbishop Prendergast. Debbie was an extraordinary person who was beloved by all who knew her. She had a heart of gold and exemplified kindness and love. Her talents were many and she was such an amazing individual with the greatest sense of humor. I am so saddened to hear of Debbie’s passing. To Debbie’s dear Mom, Joan, her brothers and extended family, my deepest condolences. Debbie’s loss is immeasurable.

To Deb’s beloved mother Joan, her brothers and to all her nieces and nephews and everyone who loved her I send my deepest sympathy and prayers for your consolation. Deborah gave 150% of herself in everything she did and she did everything in service to Jesus. She was extraordinarily kind to my children and especially my son Matthew. I know she will continue that kindness from Heaven. While I am in a complete state of shock, I’m not surprised that the Lord took her home. I can’t think of anyone whose entry into Heaven would have been more direct than Deborah’s. Deb’s energy was boundless and the number of lives she touched is known only to God. I remember her telling me how she drove to Pittsburgh for the funeral of a young man whose family had turned to her for intercessory prayer to St John Neumann. No opportunity to pray or console was ever too much for her. Deb’s artistic flair, her love, her prayers, her laughter and her spirit were such gifts to all who crossed her path. May the knowledge that Deborah is with Jesus, especially the Little Infant of Prague to whom she had such great devotion bring peace and consolation to her grieving family.
With love and prayers

To Deborah’s family, friends, and staff at St. John Neumann Shrine, I’m so sorry and my heart is heavy with sadness. Deborah was so kind and lovely, and her “job” was her vocation. I befriended Deborah (honestly she befriended me with her kindness) a few years ago while visiting SJN shrine at a very difficult time in my life. We kept in touch, and I always looked forward to seeing her when I was in the area. I honestly believe that God placed her in my life; like an angel on earth. She was warm, welcoming, compassionate, and her door was always open. I recently received a return email from her after wishing her a happy St. Padre Pio’s feast day…another one of her great devotions! God brought home a good and faithful servant and now she is safe in the arms of our Lord being greeted by her beloved St. John Neumann, St. Padre Pio, and all the angels and saints. Deborah, thank you for being so kind and welcoming, and showing perfect strangers the face of Jesus. May you Rest In Peace with our Lord, and may He comfort your family and friends. ❤️

To Deborah's family-my family and I knew Deborah for 15 years from when she was Assistant Director at Saint Rita's Shrine. When I saw this posting on Saint Rita's facebook page I was in shock. I came to the National Shrine of Saint John Neumann twice in September and October on a weekend and I so wish I could have seen Deborah again. I had spoken to her in August or September I was so happy to have heard her voice. I texted her to let her know how I was doing in regards to my breast cancer diagnosis and the last time I texted her was just two weeks ago on October 15th to let her know of my surgery. I don't know what happened my family and I are in complete shock. I have numbness under my arm and I'm in a lot of pain. I have to start radiation in a few weeks but if I were closer I wish I could have come for the Mass but I will offer a Mass for her when I can. My family and I are so so sorry for your loss. She was so wonderful to everyone she met-always serving the Good Lord and others and she will be deeply missed. Please call me if you need anything my home number is 973-239-0554 and my cell is 973-809-1616. God Love you all,

To all Debbie s family and all of the Staff of Saint John Neuman, I befriended Debbie at the shrine and I live about a mile or so from Merchanville in Pennsauken and would talk to her on the phone down at the Shrine and also would visit the Shrine from time to time and always visited her in her office and she would talk about her family and all things she was involved with and I loved my visit with her always and just recently in the beginning of October I saw her in the CVS at corner of union ave and maple ave in pennsauken and we talked for a while in there and I was so thrilled to see her and she said how did u know it was me with the mask and I just said how could I not know u mask and all with your beautiful long hair and eyes and we laughed. I am so sadden and shocked to hear of her passing as she was just a kind, caring, vivacious and beautiful person who always made me feel good when seeing her. As my mom just passed away on October 13th and my heart being so heavy and heartbroken, I had donations made in my mom s honor sent to Shrine of Saint John Neuman and left a message maybe on or about Oct 22nd on Debbie s voicemail at the Shrine to discuss other ways to donate to shrine on line as people were calling me to find out so they would get there properly and was wondering why see did not return my phone call as she always did and only to sadly find out that she was no longer with us and like my mom she entered the kingdom of heaven as only God know when he will call us but I will miss her joyful and beautiful face and soul.
