Angel L. Gonzalez, age 75 years of Philadelphia, passed away on January 9, 2021. Angel was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on January 2nd, 1946 to Neftali and Emilia Gonzalez, is the devoted husband to Carmen R. Gonzalez for 38 years. Beloved father of Luis Gonzalez, Maribel Mendez (Benjamin Mendez) Marisol Gonzalez, Edgar Luciano, Anabel Luciano and Gabriel Gonzalez (Lisa Gonzalez) Loving grandfather of Jay Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez, Cioni Gonzalez, Chris Gonzalez, Lia Gonzalez, Raini Gonzalez, Brandon Gonzalez, Sasha Mendez, Brianna Mendez, Bianca Galan, Jose Galan III, Destinee DeJesus, Wilberto DeJesus Brandon DeJesus, Aiyanna Pacheco, Gianna Pacheco, Gabriel Gonzalez Jr. and Jayden Gonzalez. Brothers Miguel Gonzalez, Nefatali Gonzalez (Deceased) Eluid Gonzalez (Deceased) Ismael Arrocho (Deceased) Javier Gonzalez, and Efrain Gonzalez. Dear brother of Heriberta Gonzalez (Deceased) Lydia Gonzalez, Damaris Gonzalez and Elizabeth Plaza. Angel was a retired worker for Aircon Filters Philadelphia. He was an assembly/machine operator for over 25 years. Angel loved spending time watching the news, telenovelas and sci fi channel with his love, Carmen, and his grandkids, Gabriel and Jayden. He also enjoyed playing Dominos. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 6-8 PM and Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 8:45-9:45 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 642 Market Street in Camden, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
