Obituary of Serafino D'Arco

Serafino "John" D'Arco, age 74 years of Blue Anchor, formerly of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021. Beloved husband of Filomena M. D'Arco (nee Marchione). Devoted father of Gina L. D'Arco and John D'Arco (Amber). Loving grandfather of Serafino D'Arco, III. Dear brother of Emilia Olivo, Raymond D'Arco, Jr., and the late Angelina Collepardi (Bob). Caring brother-in-law to Danny Marchione (Dianne), Artie Marchione (Marie), Larry Marchione (Lidia), Louise Marchione, and the late Anthony Marchione, Matthew Marchione (Barbara), John "Junior" Marchione, and Doris Marchione. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. John served as a United Stated Marine during the Vietnam War, receiving three purple hearts. He retired from heating and air conditioning at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. John was an avid hunter and fisherman, spending many outings with his son and grandson. He was also a member of the Alpha Gun Club. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 8:30 -10 AM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Stephens Church, 6300 Browning Road in Pennsauken. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
