Obituary of Della A. Sesay

Della Sesay, daughter of Frank Singleton and Rachel Singleton was born on May 12, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She departed this life on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Jefferson Hospital in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with her family at her side at the age of 66. Della grew up in Philadelphia and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior under the pastorate of Pastor Benjamin Smith. Later she relocated with her family at age of 14 to Mount Holly, New Jersey. She attended public school and graduated from Rancocas Valley Regional HS in 1971. Della was preceded in death by her father: Frank Singleton, mother: Rachel Singleton, brother's: Frank Singleton III, Irvin Singleton, Mitchel Singleton, sister: Rheba. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter: Moneke Ragsdale, sons: Hashmiru Sesay, Hamed Sesay. Grandchildren Edgar Lee, Elijah Lee, Eric Lee, Mervin Ragsdale and Great-Grandchildren. sisters: Rachel Rogers, Boardman, OH, Carol Davenport, Lone Tree, Co, Eartha Chang, Mt. Laurel, NJ, Katanya Gilmore, Lexington SC, brother: David Singleton, Galloway, NJ; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the New Beginning Ministry Baptist Church, 434 Spruce Street in Camden. A repass will follow the memorial service.
