I had the privilege of beings friends with one of the toughest, most uplifting, humorous, fearless people to walk this Earth. I remember, Petey had this sort of bright aura that exuded him, this enthusiasm that poured out of him, out of his every pore. Some people walk into a room and the world stops for them, and Pete Dillon was one of them. His being was a world wind of positivity, when you encountered Petey, you encountered something so much bigger than life, so magnetic, so radiant- he was the blazing sun on that rainy day, his soul was electrifying to those around him. He was a legend. I envied Petey, and I always will, because I wish I could be that positive and that fearless, like him. So, I will hold the memories dear to my heart, and every day of my life, I will strive and I will strive and I will never ever give up. When I fall down I will get back up and fight even harder to prove all my naysayers wrong, and I will not cry in Petey’s memories, instead, I will smile. I will be tough, just like Petey was. When times seem bleak I will look up into the sky, and remember the strongest person I ever knew and I will push myself to help not only myself, but to help others, too. I will push myself to be that kind of fearless, enthusiastic, outgoing person that my great friend Petey was, and still is. Because Petey is still alive in all of us, I know his soul is still alive, I just know it. Cause like they say, “hero’s get remembered, but legends never die”.

Mr Dillon was my best friend’s dad and was a great person. A great memory of Mr. Dillon was when he took me and Damian mudding and we had the best time I will really miss him.

I remember hanging out with Pete’s older brother and Pete always wanting to hang around us. It was like having a built in younger brother in my Navy days. I loved his enthusiasm for fast cars and his willingness to help. He will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace Bro.

The Dillons were my neighbours in the late 90’s.We bonded through our love for sports music and cars.Peter was much younger than I yet I admired the spark in his eye.Peter and I would have these epic wrestling matches and he gave it everything he had.It was all in good fun and a memory I will treasure forever.RIP Peter...Gone Too Soon.

I love you Pete we just spoke about hanging out and getting back in the gym to get back in shape. U had the loudest bark but the biggest heart..a cant believe cherry hill has lost another brother. U came everyday in Tavistock to see me and julia just to say what's up and ask for a cig lol. My brother from another always in our hearts.
