Dear Busch Family,
Madeline and I were inseparable as young teenage girls, from hanging out at her father's bowling alley, Ivy Lanes, to riding her Kawasaki motorcycle, going to dances, sleepovers, swimming in her pool, vacationing in Cape May with her dad and brothers in that huge home near the beach,and making our outfits with her sister Barbara when going to see Donna Summers at the Latin Casino in Cherry Hill. Sadly, we lost touch in high school as we both became involved with our "boyfriends" and I moved away out of Pennsauken.
Madeline was always so fun to be around, she never let the grass grow between her toes, always doing something, being her vibrant & independent self! She truly was so very special to me, and a role model I looked up too, even though I was slightly older than her! She was absolutely fearless!
Ive tried for many years to reconnect with her, but was never successful. With both of us getting married and having different last names, it was not easily done.
I am so saddened to hear of her recent passing. I'm glad to see she had the chance to become a mom. She always expressed how much she wanted to raise a family, as she lost her own mother at a young age. I hope that you all had that beautiful person in your lives to guide you, and love you, as I did.
Her passing leaves a void in my heart. May God Bless you and give you strength. My sincere condolences.
