Holly, please accept my condolences on the loss of your father.
Turning to God in prayer at times like this draws us close to him (James 4:8). God is aware of the pain you are feeling and will provide the comfort and support that you need to get through this difficult time (Psalms 46:1). May his promise for the future (John 5:28, 29) give you a wonderful hope in seeing your father again.
