Sorry to hear of your loss. Unfortunately, I found out just yesterday. I will never forget that Mom Jean tried her best to teach me how to sew. She was a great lady.
My sincerest condolences to the family.

Mom Jean!
This has always been the name I would use when greeting her, though she was not my biological mom, in my heart and by her actions of love which she displayed she was mom! not to me only, but to so many others as well. she was a mother full wisdom and freely sharing to those that were open to receive. Mom you will be missed greatly...

Fond memories of Christmas dinners with Mom Jean, the Treadwells and the Lanes, birthday dinners at Hibachi Grill, ‘shopping’ for clothes in Mom Jean’s closets, and hearing Mom Jean sing, especially while Mom Jean was cooking....

Glory to Jesus! I and my family/church family were so shocked and saddened to hear of Sis. Jean’s transition. I remember her singing, “Jesus is all the world to me!” BUT God! Remembering her, who and Whose she is, we were ushered into peace, praise and the everlasting Words and promises of our Lord! We will see her again! May you all rest in God’s comfort, peace and strength knowing that others are praying for and with you, love you and that Sis. Jean’s life impacted many and was “not in vain in the Lord.” SIP Mother!
Rev. 14:13(b) Much love~~~>

Mom Jean was beautiful on the inside and outside her heart was always set on helping others. She provided love and support to me on one particular occasion and I laid in her arms and she was comforting me that’s the kind of person she was. Funny, giving, kind, and yet she had her serious side.
Mom Jean was a precious jewel.

I've always loved cousin Jean. We'd laugh as she'd always reminded me that she changed my diapers when I was a baby. Being left in her care while my parents worked, is why Jean is a part of my earliest memories. During a very dark time in my life, Dear Jean came to offer ministry, sustenance and unconditional love. I don't know how Cousin Jean learned I was in trouble. Somehow, her Mom, Aunt Evelyn and my sister Cathy made it happen. In any case, the efforts by the beautiful Woman of God, my first cousin, helped save my life. I'm eternally grateful...
