Obituary of Mervin L. Ragsdale, Jr.

Mervin L. Ragsdale, Jr., age 53 years of Camden, passed away on December 27, 2018. 

Beloved husband of Moneke T. (nee Singleton).  Devoted father of Nakita Jones, Edgar Lee III, Elijah Lee, Eric Lee and Mervin L. III.  Loving grandfather of David, Tamia, Kayode, Divah, Aamya, Janiyah, A’Kayla, Lennox and Elijah Jr.  Cherished son of Ezelia (nee Walker) and the late Mervin L. Sr.  Dear brother of Celeste Thompson, Louis Ragsdale, Janeen Robingson, Monica Ragsdale, Tyra Ragsdale and Ebony Ragsdale.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended and blended family members.

Mervin was employed with the City of Camden department of public works for many years.  He was a United States Army Veteran.  Mervin was a youth mentor and coach for many years in the city of Camden and an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.  He enjoyed traveling, karaoke and his truck.  Mervin was loving, caring, had a great sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 9 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
