Obituary of Esther D. Pimentel

Esther D. Pimentel (nee Dandrade), age 71 years, of Pennsauken, formerly of Camden, passed away on July 1, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Jose J. for 48 years. Devoted mother of Mayuris Pimentel, Merari (Alex) Pimentel-Maria, Maireni (Nikole) Pimentel. Loving grandmother of Pedro Elias Maldonado, Amauri Pimentel, Sofia Alicea, Adriel A. Pimentel and great grandmother of Benjamin. Dear sister of Belen, Noemi, Israel, Samuel and Alejandro Dandrade, Betania Reyes, and the late Rosalina and Daniel.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Prior to retirement, Esther was employed with the Camden City Board of Education for 13 years.  She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, was in involved in missionary work and was devoted to the church and God.  Esther enjoyed singing, cooking, teaching children and was always very well dressed.  She will be remembered for her laughter, she always said it was her favorite thing.   

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday from 9:30 – 11 AM at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 2926 Westfield Ave in Camden, where a Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 AM.  Entombment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
