My sincere condolences to Dave, Angela, Mary, Susan, George and the entire Costantino family. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
Basil was the most kind, caring, gentle, talented, loving, supportive "friend" to me, one that will never be replaced.
His presence will always be with me. His magnificent works of art and the many gifts that he gave me throughout our 36 yrs. of friendship will be cherished forever.
My heart is broken, my trips up from Florida will never be the same. You will truly be our
artist in the heaven and skies above.

Dear Dave and members of Basil's family,
I worked with Basil at Kenmac Flowers. He was a good friend and would do anything for you. He traveled to KY to help me with my daughters wedding flowers and we laughed a lot in the barn while the horses watched.
Basil was kind, caring and very supportive. I missed him when he moved on to Wegmans.
I know he will be missed by everyone but I hope his love for you will carry you through the hard days ahead and remembering your time with him will bring a smile to your face. He was truly special and will not be forgotten.

Dear Dave, George, Mary, Angela, and Susan,
Dave may remember me, we had dinner once or twice when Basil worked at Moorestown Flower Shoppe. I never met the rest of his family.
I worked holidays at Moorestown for about 18 or 19 years.
I was sorry to hear about Basil's passing. He was a really great person with a great sense of humor. I enjoyed working with him. I use to get up to NJ often and sometime stopped in to Wegmans to see him.
My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you on Sunday and the days ahead.

Though many of my memories with Basil are from a time I can’t remember as a young child, I do remember the countless hours we shared just sitting together. We talked about anything and everything we could think of. We shared many laughs, and though his passing may leave an empty seat next to me on the couch at reunions, he will always have a place in my heart.

.. It's hard to find words right now.. you were a big influence on my life, and I put this off bc this hurts so much and now its real.. writing this with tears bc I know I'll never be able to see you again.. there's so much I want to say but I'll keep it kinda short. One of my favorite memories I have of Basil was of when I was really young. I wanted so badly to put on a puppet show, but I had no stage, no puppets, no script... But Basil just said “We can do this!” and we sure did. He helped me create everything I needed just using everyday items around the house. He also helped me write a script with a surprise twist ending. I was so proud of our creation, and I will never forget the hundreds of other memories I have of Basil. Life is about time spent with loved ones, and I will always miss my time with you. Lots of love, Kathlene
