Obituary of Daniel D Santone

Daniel D. Santone, age 91 years, of Moorestown, formerly of Cherry Hill, Collingswood and Camden, passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2018 with his family by his side. 

Beloved husband of Gloria E. (nee Garramano) for 74 years.  Devoted father of Gloria Jean Esbrandt (Philip) and Joseph Santone.  Loving grandfather of Gregory Englesbe (Jessica) and Daniel Santone and great grandfather of Simone, Olivia and Sophia.  Also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Prior to retirement in 2010, Dan was manager of Baker Lanes in Cherry Hill for 53 years.   He worked many different jobs during his life time and was good at fixing stuff around the house.  Dan was a United States Marine veteran of WWII and enjoyed trips to Ocean City.  He was always putting others before himself and was quick to help family members in need.  Dan cherished spending time with his grandchildren, liked stamp and coin collecting, loved riding his bicylce and taking long drives in the car. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday from 9:30 AM at the Catholic Church of St. Mary, 2001 Springdale Rd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM.  Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church at the above address or Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive Suite 300 Marlton, NJ 08053.
