Obituary of Mario Amodei

Mario Amodei, age 82 years, of Pennsauken, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on February 25, 2018. Beloved husband of Anna Marie (nee DiSandro) for 55 years. Devoted father of Riccardo and Roberto Amodei. Loving brother of Umbertina Lombardi, Orietta Siravo (Domenico), Igina D'Alessio (Carmine) and the late Adamo Amodei, Anita Procaccino and Antonio Amodei. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mario came to America in 1951 and quickly became a master bricklayer as a teenager and then construction supervisor for the remainder of his career. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, trips back home to Italy, playing Blackjack at the casinos and most of all spending time with his family. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 9-10 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 AM at Mary Queen of All Saints Parish, 4824 Camden Ave in Pennsauken. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
