Obituary of Luis M. Figueroa

Luis M. Figueroa, age 50 years, of Camden, passed away on September 2, 2017 at Cooper Hospital in Camden. Beloved companion of Carmen L. Velez for over 20 years. Devoted stepfather of Ana Trotter (Thomas), Jose A. Velez, Jr., Doris J. Velez and Ivette Velez (Audeliz, Sr.). Loving grandfather of Crystal, Erica, Cyani, Iveliz, Ciara and Audeliz, Jr. and great grandfather of 5. Also survived by dear friends Shawn and Geraldo. Luis enjoyed cars, music, cooking on the grill and taking walks around his neighborhood. Even though he never had children of his own, he was always surrounded by many children. Some were extended family and others were neighborhood kids, but Luis always enjoyed their company. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday from 8:30 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 642 Market Street in Camden, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden.
