Obituary of Enrico T. Caruso
Enrico T. Caruso, Sr., in his 95th year, formerly of Pennsauken and Deptford, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2017 at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland, where he was a resident for the past 8 years.
Beloved husband of the late Jean (nee Cox). Devoted father of Enrico T. Caruso Jr. (Denise), James Caruso (Teri), Mary Ann (Doug) Johnson, and Terri Caruso; Cherished poppop of 12 and great grandfather of 3. Dear brother of Robert Caruso, Sr. and Mildred Rowan. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Prior to retirement in 1985, Rick was employed at ITE Circuit Breaker Company for over 44 years as a manager of mechanical and design drafting switchgear systems. He was a Sergeant in the US Army serving during WWII from 1942-1945 in England, France, Germany and Switzerland. Rick was a lifetime member of the Bloomfield Park Volunteer Fire Company in Pennsauken since 1942.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Sunday from 6-8 PM, where a Fireman's Service will be held at 7:30 PM and Monday from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 West Maple Ave in Merchantville. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill.
