Obituary of Lorraine D Barbarisi

Lorraine D. Barbarisi of Cherry Hill, 83 years (nee Santarpio), passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 15, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Eugene; Devoted mother of Lisa and her husband Walter Holmes; Cherished grandmother of Jessica (Daan Coster) Holmes and Stephanie (Craig) Slotkin; Predeceased by her siblings John Santarpio, Josephine Giunta, and Joseph Santarpio Jr., Also survived by nieces & nephews. After graduating high school in Philadelphia at the age of sixteen, Lorraine began a successful 40-year career as a Systems Analyst with the Department of Defense, buying supplies for the Navy, Army, and Marine Corps during wartime and rising to the top in a male dominated field. Lorraine loved doting on her daughter and granddaughters, playing poker, crocheting, and all things Italian. Relatives & friends are invited to the Memorial Visitation & Funeral on Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at Falco Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning RD in Pennsauken. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of St. Peter, 43 W. Maple Avenue in Merchantville. Final Disposition Private.
