Cerone, age 81 of Pennsauken, NJ; passed away on June 4, 2010 at Vitas Hospice in Stratford, NJ. Beloved husband of Dorothy A. Savoia Cerone (nee Laurito) and the late Mary B. (nee Houwen); Devoted father of Carolyn Hosier, Jeanne (Blaise) Cona, Martha (Richard) Cafarelli, David (Donna) Cerone, Donna (John) O'Shea, Rose (Jeffrey) Price, Carol (Greg) Mrozowski, and Mary Jo Cerone; Loving grandfather of Michelle, Blaise, Joseph, Emily, Mikayla , Shane, Sydney , Dana, Olivia and Gavin; Dear brother of Evelyn Andriella and brother in law of Nicholas Laurito. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Cerone was employed by the NJ Dept. of Transportation for over 25 years. A United States Army Veteran of the Korean War , he was also a former president of Sons of Italy Lodge 494 and a Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council 5113. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday from 7 to 9 PM and Tuesday from 9 to 10 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road . Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Road, Pennsauken, NJ 08109 . Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill .
