Obituary of Robert Goodwin

Robert Goodwin, Sr., age 78 of Pennsauken, passed away on January 6, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Lillian F. (nee Thiel) and loving son of the late Chester and Blanche Goodwin; Devoted father of Barbara (John) Adriano, Connie (James) Burke and Robert Goodwin Jr. (Alissa); Loving grandfather of Nicole, Heather, Tracey, John III, James, Bobby, Thomas, Stacey and Ryan and great grandfather of Candace, Zander, Caitlyn, Jimmy, Aiden, Dane, Hailey, Giovanna and Dominic; Dear brother of the late Chester and George Goodwin and Shirley Mitchell. Mr. Goodwin was a member of Union Local 14 for 50 years, where he worked as a union insulator for 38 years. He was an avid hunter, fisher and taxidermist; and also enjoyed drag racing, building and racing stock cars. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 8 PM. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
