Hello I was reading the obituaries and i came this one about Frances Segarra. I loved reading her obituary and how it said that she was spiritual and lived a simple, selfless life. I can see why she was the rock and queen of the family with having the characteristic of looking for good in others. Did you know that the bible says that if God was to look at our faults who can stand. No one for we are all imperfect. So I enjoyed reading that about her. You know in the bible book of ecclesiastes it says, A good name* is better than good oil,+ and the day of death is better than the day of birth. So true as i read the obituaries I can see how the day of death, people speak such beautiful things about you and leave you with a good name. I just wanted to offer some comforting words from the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our tribulation so we in turn can comfort others. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). Did you know that at Revelation 21:3,4 it says thAt he will wipe away all the tears from your eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry be anymore? Isnt that beautifully written, it shows that he knows our pain and offers us a hope of a better future. But what about those who have already passed away. The bible offers good news at John 5:28,29. It says their is going to be a resurrection. Hard to believe right thats why the bible says "Donot Marvel at this, it will happen". I enjoy reading an example of this at John 11:1-44. This is an occassion where Jesus is at a funeral of his friend Lazarus. Its heart warming to read how he is affected so much from the pain he sees at the funeral that he begins to weep, at verse 33-35. Lazarus is resurrected in this account. I hope u find comfort from the scriptures as i have. Sincerely Sonia.
